ReMOBIL: International Summer School on Sustainable Mobility for students will take place at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, Jamova cesta 2, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia

FOR WHOME:

Students of study programmes related to spatial planning and management, sustainable mobility, and regional planning (architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, geography, geodesy, spatial planning, transport engineering, civil engineering, economics, sociology, etc.). Undergraduate (Bachelor or Master) or Single-Cycle Master Study Programme students are invited.

ACCOMMODATION: Students can obtain a scholarship and organise their stay and Ljubljana through the CEEPUS network. More information in the attachment. Therefore the deadline for registering for the summer school is 14.8.2023

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL

The purpose of the summer school is to propose a regional bicycle network that will allow users to bike to work, school, errands, etc. on a daily basis. The aim of the summer school is to identify points where it would be useful to establish a system for renting bicycles and e-bikes, a proposal for a bicycle infrastructure to public transport stops at the regional level using the example of the Ljubljana Urban Region (LUR).

Students will receive a certificate and 4 ECTS for their participation in the summer school.
